I love the tiny feet of my daughters - they're soft, round and perfect. Those little feet have so far to go, so many kilometers to travel. As individuals, our girls have such amazing adventures to embark on and I will do my best to never hold them back, remembering always that their lives and loves are their own to discover. I will guide them as best as I can, I will love them with all of my heart and I will encourage them to be the people they want to be.

Mommy and Me (1)

On of the (many) things I am battling with since my change to 'single Mom-ness', is how to divide the little time I have with my children, between them. They need my attention, they want my attention, and I long to be able to give it to them. They are such unique little characters and I love spending time with them, so I decided to set up individual 'dates' with them.

This weekend Jem and I went on our first date...a simple outing that brought so much pleasure to both of us...an ice cream at Milky Lane and then off to the little Sundowner dam to feed the ducks.

Jem arrived home full of excitement, telling anyone she could, "I spent time with Mommy all by myself". I arrived home with a heart full of joy, feeling closer to my youngest daughter than ever before.

She's just the sweetest child, and I could eat her up!

Yum!

Yummy!

Yummier!

Yummiest!

Having a good old catch up together! (this is how Jem's feet always look - she's such a little raggamuffin!)

Dinner time for the ducks.

Takes lots of effort to make sure they all get enough food.

Playing soldiers amongst the Cosmos.
