I love the tiny feet of my daughters - they're soft, round and perfect. Those little feet have so far to go, so many kilometers to travel. As individuals, our girls have such amazing adventures to embark on and I will do my best to never hold them back, remembering always that their lives and loves are their own to discover. I will guide them as best as I can, I will love them with all of my heart and I will encourage them to be the people they want to be.

Little conversations with big impact

Sitting at the breakfast table this morning, the conversation between my two gorgeous munchkins went as follows:

Ella, very seriously, and in a mommy voice "Jem, when you stop sleeping with your dummy then I'll let you sleep with my special camel"
Jem, surprise on her face "Oh, thank you Ella!"
Ella, smiling sweetly "It's a pleasure"
Jem, giving Ella a huge hug "I love you so much Ella"

Looking over at me, with great big grins on their sweet faces, I couldn't help but swoon - and in that instant they could do no wrong - despite the fact that they were taking ages to eat breakfast and we were running late!

My heart beats lumpy custard for these two :-)

xoxo
