I love the tiny feet of my daughters - they're soft, round and perfect. Those little feet have so far to go, so many kilometers to travel. As individuals, our girls have such amazing adventures to embark on and I will do my best to never hold them back, remembering always that their lives and loves are their own to discover. I will guide them as best as I can, I will love them with all of my heart and I will encourage them to be the people they want to be.

Once upon a time, there was a Mommy who had arrived home from a busy day at work, excited to see her two precious little girls. They went running up to her, showering her in hugs and kisses, which she gladly accepted, giving them hugs and kisses right back. The little girls ran off to play but after only a few minutes went jumping back to their Mom, shouting "Mommy, we're hungry, we're hungry!!". With an audible sigh, their Mommy groaned, thinking that there wouldn't be anything in the kitchen cupboards that they would want...

Whilst busy with the million other tasks that required her urgent attention, and wondering what she could give them to snack on that would be healthy and not too filling - with dinner time not far off - she asked her eldest daughter what she would like to eat and her eldest daughter shouted, "A carrot!". This Mommy then asked her youngest daughter what she would like to eat, and the little one shouted, "Apple!!"

With a grin on her face and warmth in her heart, the proud Mommy went to the fridge to get apples and carrots for her children to eat.

This Mommy is very aware that apples and carrots aren't always at the top of the list of what-they-want-to-eat, but is very happy if sometimes they are :-)
